Welcome to Layout Master, our new application for developing HTML+CSS based web page layouts. This manual describes the application, what it does, and how it does it. Along the way, it also describes how HTML+CSS based web page layouts work.
As a web developer you may have come across, or heard about CSS positioning This is an aspect of CSS level 2 which along with HTML provides a powerful page layout technology for the web. But hand coding the CSS and HTML for page layouts can be time consuming and frustrating, and while leading WYSIWYG page editing tools provide page layout editing based on CSS positioning, there are few other tools to help make matters easier and more productive. That's where Layout Master comes in. It's not a complete WYSIWYG web page solution, nor is it designed to replace your current text, HTML and CSS editors. Rather, it's designed to work with all of these by giving you a powerful, easy to use page layout tool, which creates standards based CSS and HTML code.
This manual details each of the features of Layout Master, as well as providing in depth information about the underlying code.
